Suar wood always varies in tone, colour and pattern. Wood is a living material that expands and contracts, causing cracks and knots. We take steps during transport and in our warehouse to dry and coat suar wooden items, but it may still hold moisture deep within that can seep out over time.
Treating the product with a protective oil yearly is recommended, this will also revive the colour.
