Alquezar Recycled Glass Marvels - Unique Artisanal Drinkware
Title
Our hand-blown glass pitcher is a testament to traditional Mexican craftsmanship, originating from a distinguished glassblowing workshop in the Jalisco region of western Mexico. This establishment is notably managed by Doña Josefina, who is deeply committed to the social integration of disadvantaged individuals. She provides them with steady employment opportunities and offers young people the chance to learn a highly respected skill—glassblowing.
The material used in the creation of our pitchers is 100% recycled glass, contributing to several environmental benefits. Recycling glass consumes less energy compared to producing new glass since recycled glass melts at lower temperatures. Additionally, glass can be melted and reused repeatedly without any loss in quality, saving valuable natural resources such as quartz sand, soda, and lime. This process also significantly reduces environmental impact usually associated with glass production.
Each of our pitchers is a unique masterpiece, embodying the spirit of Mexican artisanal tradition. Minor variations in shape, height, and diameter are not flaws but rather hallmarks of their individuality, highlighting the special character of each piece.
